ABOUT ME

Carrie is a warm and professional psychologist with more than 18 years of clinical experience in Hong Kong and in Australia. She is a Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) speaking psychologist.  She has worked with persons with intellectual disabilities in rehabilitation settings and with children, adolescents and families in community settings. Her specialties include emotional disorders, abuse and trauma, relationship issues, parenting problems, grief and loss. She also has extensive experience in performing cognitive assessments for children and adults, and preparing victim impact or pre-sentencing reports for courts.

Carrie 是一位和藹及經驗豐富的專業臨床心理學家, 她於香港及澳洲共有過18年的臨床經驗.  她能說流利的中文(普通話及廣東話). 她有於復康中心給予有特殊需要的人士心理服務業的經驗, 也有於社區跟兒童, 青少年及成年人治療的經驗.  她專長處理的問題包括情緒病, 家庭暴力及創傷, 夫妻及家庭關係問題, 孩子管教問題, 以及哀傷輔導等等.  她對於為兒童及成年人作認知能力評估, 及以撰寫發庭報告等, 也有極豐富的經驗.

Carrie takes an empathetic and non-judgmental approach in supporting her clients through their difficulties, identifying their strengths and taking practical steps towards their goals. Carrie works with clients from culturally diverse backgrounds and provides a wide range of therapies including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), narrative therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, emotion-focused therapy, parenting training and relationship counselling.

Carrie 富有同理心, 以非批判性的態度, 去幫助服務使用者面對他們的困難, 找出他們自身的優點能力, 以實際的行動一步步地解決問題.  她的服務使用者來自不同的文化國藉背景.  她提供的治療方法包括認知行為治療(CBT), 基模治療法(Schema Therapy), 眼部減敏治療(EMDR), 敍事治療, 靜觀治療法, 情緒導向治療, 家長管教訓練, 夫婦輔導以及家庭治療.
